Innovations within small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are a driving force behind the Dutch and European economy. Therefore supporting innovations within the SMEs and strenghtening their competitive capacity is an important mission for TNO.
This is done on the basis of an extensive knowledge portfolio. TNO has the means to keep on developing new knowledge thanks in part to the Dutch Government. With our knowledge and expertise we assist entrepreneurs.
TNO assists in the different stages of (product and production) development, from idea generation to implementation and testing. For this we possess both the technological and process oriented knowledge.
Moreover our policy is aimed at establishing several new starting companies each year. This is done by TNO Bedrijven, the holding company of all TNO participations.
The regulations and programs TNO has available are specifically for Dutch entrepreneurs. That is the reason our web pages on the information about the programs for SMEs are available only in Dutch.
