TNO's advanced knowledge of and extensive experience with the environmental issues related to land use, traffic and industrial production has led to the development of methods and models for detailing and quantifying the impact of these activities. For its research and consultancy services, TNO has developed technical and scientific software products that can perform complicated computations in a short period of time. Besides developing these software products and using them, TNO licences the software to clients in many countries.
