International NCSC One Conference 2016 - Protecting Bits & Atoms

This year’s fourth edition of the international National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) One Conference will take place on Tuesday April 5 and Wednesday April 6 at the World Forum in The Hague. The NCSC One Conference is all about Cyber Security. This two-day conference offers plenary sessions and parallel tracks with leading experts and inspiring speakers that will present a variety of topics. 'Protecting Bits & Atoms' is this year’s theme.

Dr. Hendrik-Jan van Veen and ing. Jordan Schonagen MSc. will give a presentation during this conference, with the title ‘Let’s own the drONE’. In this presentation and  live hacking demonstration they will discuss the growing use of drones in the context of threats to safety or security and the way forward. They will also explore the wider implications of the success (or failure) of drone fighting methods to the security of other remotely controlled systems, like the Internet of Things.

Time and location: April 6 from 14:50-15:30 uur in de Grote Zaal of the World Forum in The Hague.
