BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology

Montréal, Canada • 23 Jul 2017 - 26 Jul 2017

Biorizon Shared Research Centre is attending the BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology in Montreal from 23-26 July 2017.

Tuesday, July 25th, Joop Groen, business developer at TNO, will moderate a workshop about bioaromatics. The present panel, consisting of TNO and chain partners of Biorizon: Covestro, Avantium, Orgaworld and Lux research, will focus on the development of bioaromatics into application, focusing on the scale upgrading TRL 4/5 to 6/7 and the testing of samples of bioaromatics, made by Biorizon technology, in various applications such as coatings and lubricants. There will also be paid attention to the feedstock side, which uses organic waste streams as a promising, often cost-effective source.

The workshop, called 'Biobased Aromatic Building Blocks: A Value Chain View by the Biorizon Program', can be attended during the congress on Tuesday, July 25th.
