Sustainable Chemistry Café: Claiming your sustainability benefits

Utrecht | Stadskasteel Oudaen • 24 Jan 2017

Many companies are actively making their business more sustainable or considering doing so. This entails making complex decisions from the perspective of people, planet and profit. TNO has an extensive track record of making qualitative and quantitative assessments of the sustainability of processes and products and would like to share this knowledge with you in the exclusive Sustainable Chemistry Café.

Share your views and help the chain to innovate

In our exclusive Sustainable Chemistry Café current themes in chemistry are being discussed.

During the sixth TNO Sustainable Chemistry Café, the speakers
  • Toon van Harmelen MSc, Senior environmental scientist of TNO
  • Dr. Amanda Sparke, Global Innovation Leader of SealedAir
  • Joost Broeders, Technical Director of Baril Coatings

will inform you about the challenges to improve your competitive edge based on quantitative sustainability benefits. How could you quantify and offer your sustainability benefits in the applications or processes of your customers? How could you improve your marketing communication based on quantitatively based sustainability arguments?

During an interactive session we will discuss the issues, opportunities and the sustainability benefits in a variety of chemical products and processes. Sharing views creates new ideas! We will round off the day with informal drinks and networking.

If you are interested to joint the Café, you are more than welcome. You are welcome to bring along a colleague or client if you wish. Participation is free of charge.
