The Oil & Gas Reinvented Community of which TNO besides Shell and Siemens is the founding father organizes an event on 29th of June 2017. During this event we will be exploring the Future Perspective of Energy Storage and Conversion. We will discuss its capacity, its cost efficiency and its potential future. In the afternoon, mr. Johan Maes of DEME Environmental Contractors will take us out to sea with a presentation on large scale energy storage. But not before our working groups Offshore Energy, Digital Oil and Gas, Geothermal Energy, CCUS, Robotics will reconvene and discuss their progress.

NEW! As a result of increasing interest in heat production, storage and transport, the working group on Geothermal Energy is launched. In the evening, we will continue with energy storage and dive deeper into its challenges and opportunities with TNO. In addition, AES Energy Storage and Hystock will give us a new perspective on energy storage with battery and hydrogen storage, respectively. Later in the evening, our panelists will tackle the question of energy storage’s economic value from a multi-disciplinary approach. Come and hear the representatives of FME Energy Storage NL, Deloitte and the Dutch Government discuss the trends, opportunities and challenges of energy storage.
We now offer a walking dinner for networking opportunities in between the afternoon and evening sessions. Cocktails will be served after the evening session to give you yet another opportunity to continue networking and to exchange ideas.
The Oil & Gas Reinvented Community designed to connect a wide range of stakeholders related to the oil & gas industry. The aim is to foster partnerships, share ideas and discuss innovations that deserve a wider audience, especially outside the sector. The community has been established in order to accelerate innovation to the benefit of the energy transition.
