Are you a Master or PhD student in the field of Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, Mathematics, Systems & Control, Automotive or Artificial Intelligence and are you passionate about Automotive?
Prepare yourself to be challenged! We invite you to join the inhouse day at the automotive department, we want to see your creativity and technical skills put into play while working in multi-disciplinary teams.
During this challenge you will need to innovate in a way in unexpected ways and to find potentials where others don't even look. Furthermore, your marketing abilities will be put to test.
At the Automotive department we work on complex problems, like:
By 2030 the Netherlands can reduce the number of traffic casualties by 25%. That saves society 2.5 billion euros per year. TNO wants to contribute to this aim by helping to introduce more quickly smart vehicle technology and cooperative systems and thus halve the traffic jams in the Netherlands, and so relieve the environment as well as create opportunities for Dutch companies.
Furthermore, the emissions of greenhouse gases and fuel consumption by transport must be halved at least during the coming 15 years. TNO wants to help to make this happen by developing clean vehicle technology and intelligent transport systems, supporting the implementation of new technology, like electric drive and biofuels, and advising on legislation and policy.
During the TNO Automotive Inhouse Day the departments of Power Train and Integrated Vehicle Safety challenge you to come up with a creative solution for a complex problem that is typical for the work we do at TNO. You will get to know the experts, check out the test facilities and work together as a team to provide a solution for the case. Can you rise up to the challenge?
