TNO and PTV start cooperation on Urban Strategy and VISUM

PTV Group and TNO start to cooperate to help cities with combined mobility planning, urban planning and the environmental quality. By creating the joint solution with VISUM and Urban Strategy we create a worldwide unique approach for complex challenges such as congestion and related air pollution are supported with fast insight in the effect of their strategies and measures and are able to improve living quality for their citizens.

In order to help cities with interactive urban planning, TNO has developed Urban Strategy,  a calculation model for interactive planning, and is helping cities worldwide with this solution. PTV Visum is a comprehensive, flexible software system for strategic traffic and transport planning.  Around the globe, the system is used for metropolitan, regional and state-wide infrastructure planning.

PTV is global market leader in the field of software solutions for transport logistics, traffic planning and traffic management. In the cooperation, TNO and PTV offer a joint solution based on these products.
