Martijn Stamm has been appointed Director Market of TNO’s Traffic & Transport unit and will take up his new position on 1 September. Martijn’s entry into the management team is seen as a great asset to the unit. With his extensive knowledge of the mobility sector and years of experience at TNO, Martijn is in a unique position to bring knowledge and industry closer together.
In recent years, Martijn Stamm has fulfilled the role of Research Manager within the Traffic & Transport unit. In this role, he has gained both national and international experience within relevant networks and has contributed greatly to the establishment of strategic partnerships.
“I am very pleased to be able to welcome Martijn to the management team and am convinced that his decisive personality and extensive expertise will be of great value in bringing the unit’s strategic direction to life.” says Ellen Lastdrager, Managing Director of Traffic & Transport.
In his new position, Martijn succeeds Daan de Cloe, who has decided to continue his career outside of TNO. Ellen Lastdrager: “Since 2013, Daan and his team have worked hard to create greater social impact through applied scientific research into smart, safe and sustainable mobility solutions. Through close cooperation with national and international authorities and industrial partners in Europe, the USA and Asia, these efforts have led to a strong knowledge and market position for TNO in the global mobility domain. Daan has contributed a lot to the current TNO organisation through his great dedication and passion. I would like to thank Daan for his commitment and the important role that he’s played in the Unit in recent years,”
