What will you be doing?

With an enthousiastic team we are developing different proto types machines with integrated functionalities. Your role will be to support in the development of these concepts and to define the required software architecture which is suitable for different machines and flexible to incorporate future innovations. Also hands on programming of front end and PLC and hardware control will be part of the activities.

What do we require of you?

We are looking for a person with a background and experience in software programming/architecture who has been working in the high tech domain. Beside the software you have an understand of the mechatronics, involved in machines, to be able to discuss with team members on the concepts.

Required skills/competences:
  • programming of back end, front end and GUI (e.g. html, javascript, C#/C++, .NET) 

Specific skills/competences that are a benefit:
  • Beckhoff or other PLC (ST, C++)
  • Matlab/Simulink.

What can you expect of your work situation?

EFAM (equipment for additive manufacturing) is a department of approximately 45 persons in which we work on developing new 3D printing technologies for different domains (like high tech systems, 3D printed electronics, medical, Food and Pharma). It's a multi-disciplinairy team consisting of among others mechanical engineers, mechatronics, printing, flow and thermal engineers. We test, validate and optimise our existing concepts for customer tailored to their applications as well as developing new concepts for customers as well as next generation concepts for future implementation.

You can apply till June 18, 2017. The first round of interviews is scheduled on June, 28. The second round of interviews is scheduled for July 3, 2017. The process comprises at least three (selection) rounds. After a positive selection, we will finish off the process by discussing terms and conditions of employment. We try to complete the interviews and assessment within 4 weeks.
