What will you be doing?
In this role, you will be responsible for a large part of our national and international business portfolio and revenue, with a structural contribution to our strategic program “Strategy for Sustainable Mobility”. You will be responsible for creating innovative propositions and business development for multiple stakeholders, that will accelerate our roadmap. In day-to-day operations, you will support and work together with colleagues in the Strategy for Sustainable Mobility program, a.o. lead consultants and leading scientists in the field of sustainable mobility. You will report directly to the Director Market.
What do we require of you?
- An university degree in a technical field, supplemented by commercial experience, or commercial field;
- A proven track record of work experience in a commercial (management) role;
- Ability and proven experience to coordinate and execute multiple business opportunities at the same time, with focus on actual deal closing with new and existing partners;
- Strong affinity with sustainable mobility, and preferably also with vehicle technology and policy supporting research
- Strong affinity with an R&D/Technology oriented and dynamic working environment;
- Proven and highly developed ability to operate both independently as within a team;
- Fluent in both English and Dutch language.
What can you expect of your work situation?
The mission of the Unit Traffic and Transport is to boost the well-being of society by ensuring safe, efficient, accessible and sustainable traffic and transport solutions. Within this unit, the program “Strategy for Sustainable Mobility” works on strategic and tactical advice in the field of sustainable mobility. We advise the European Commission, national and local governments on how to make road and water transport clean and how to make the transition towards zero CO2 mobility in order to reach the Paris agreement goals.
Our work in this area is of world class level, is dynamic and has a high social relevance and impact. Our team consists of the best scientist and consultants in the field of sustainable mobility. They are more than happy to take you on board and to help you acquire our next challenges.
