What will you be doing?

In your role, you will be responsible for developing, optimising, managing and (co)producing the content on, TNO Insights, the intranet and the M&C service desk. You will continuously monitor the performance of the content and make adjustments where necessary. You will contribute to the optimisation of our digital channels (website, newsletters, socials, video, campaigns) and the findability of You will create emailings, monitor the response and advise colleagues on the use of email marketing. You will also manage the social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube). You are data-driven and you will perform A-B tests for optimisations and analyse the data in the content and campaigns for click behaviour, CTR and conversion using Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc. You will interpret the data and make recommendations for optimisations (for conversion, engagement figures, etc.). You will also be responsible for webcare and you will analyse and respond to messages (social media, website, email and chat), flag up deviating responses, and make recommendations for the website and social media based on client contacts.

What do we require of you?

Our ideal candidate is completely at home in the world of online communication and social media and has experience in monitoring and improving all types of content. You will make sure that our content gets a lot of views and that we do the right things. You are a driven, inquisitive professional. In addition, you have the following assets:
  • higher professional (HBO) degree in communications or multimedia;
  • at least 3 years of work experience in online communication;
  • extensive experience with social media and email marketing and fully up-to-date on  the latest trends and developments;
  • experience with different CMS systems and tooling (Umbraco, SharePoint, Tryane), Photoshop and video editing;
  • knowledge of and experience with online communication and optimal use of digital  channels, such as social media, SEO, SEA and CRO;
  • strong in textual and visual communication and activation of target groups; you know  exactly how to achieve the desired effect with followers through the right channels;
  • excellent command of Dutch and English;
  • experience with blockchain concepts is a plus;
  • affinity with the professional fields at TNO.

You can apply till the 2nd of June. The process comprises at least two (selection) rounds. First two interview rounds and then an assessment OR presentation. After a positive selection, we will finish off the process by discussing terms and conditions of employment. We try to complete the interviews and assessment within 4 weeks.
