What will be your role?
Within the team Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) & Biomarkers we perform advanced analytical research and measurements in clinical samples from drug development studies. For the analysis we use accelerator mass spectrometry, chromatographic techniques and accurate mass spectrometry. We have facilities in Leiden and Zeist. We combine high end commercially available technology with in-house developed devices which we are constantly improving.
Our team is growing to match the growing interest of our customers. That is why we are increasing the numbers of our instruments. Currently, we are looking for a hands-on research engineer. You will help us with troubleshooting and technical maintenance of our unique cutting edge technology. This includes a 1MV particle accelerator and in-house developed interfaces. You will contribute to building of prototypes and their testing and validation. Also you will have a role in their installation and implementation to make the innovative technology ready for sponsor projects.

- a higher technical degree and background in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering;
- the ability to read wiring and instrumentation diagrams;

The selection process
