What will you be doing?
Sport and Media are topics in which our computer vision technology has a perfect fit. TNO is working on leading projects in this sector and we are looking for a student who is willing to take on a challenge. TNO is able to detect players on a sport field in real time by using camera technology and image processing. Now we face the challenge to detect and track the ball in real time sport videos. We’ve got a complete data pipeline ready for you along with a large set of sport videos. We are looking for a pragmatic and creative student who is able to program an efficient algorithm to detect and track the ball in real time. We’ve got help from professional sport analysts who we can ask (almost) anything and with this challenge you are very close to solutions that are used in the field. In this way you are building a bridge between TNO’s research and leading sport applications. An offer you cannot refuse!
