What will be your role?

Greenhouse gas emissions must be drastically reduced in the coming decades, and net zero should be reached by 2050. To this extend, direct air capture (DAC) can help in generating negative emissions for the hard to abate sectors. In this internship, you will work directly on the energy transition by modelling of the promising sorbent based DAC technology.

In this internship, you will build a fundamental model for sorbent based direct air capture (DAC) systems. The model should be able to evaluate different type of sorbents and should be able to predict where future research (e.g. sorbent development) should focus on to allow further commercialization of the technology.

How do you want to contribute to tomorrow's world? How big can your impact be? Come and work at TNO and envision it.
