What will you be doing?

There is a high demand for reliable and cost-effective well sealants for all geo-energy and re-use technologies, driven by societal, environmental and economic factors. A facility that can mimic a wide range of downhole geo-energy application at full-scale is required to develop innovative sealants.

TNO offers an internship for the design of an high temperature testing cabinet. Part of the assignment making a functional specification, design of structures and development of control and measurement system. Furthermore this design needs to be translated to Request for quotation at various suppliers the required Health Safety and Environment studies and documentation needs to be created and finally the setup needs to be assembled after with a factory acceptance test is needed to make the new setup ready for usage.

The lab facilities are in Rijswijk.

You will be working in a lab environment of our Centre for Sustainable Geo Energy in Rijswijk. The group consists of a small team of technicians.
