What will be your role?

Each day, massive amounts of data are generated. To develop applications for the common good, this data must be shared by parties across the board. The challenge is to overcome stakeholders’ proprietary, control and privacy concerns. As a junior knowledge graph developer at TNO you help harness and give meaning to data. You will contribute to a wide range of projects, such as enhancing predictive modelling of plant growth. Or improving the reliability of supply chains by securing collaboration in the logistics sector. Join us and work in the frontline of data science!

Together with your colleagues you create smart solutions for sharing data between systems of multiple organizations in the domains of logistics, agri-food, defence and industry. Without releasing sensitive information, of course. When sharing data, correct interpretation is key, which is why your knowledge models capture the meaning of data. You will also contribute to developing software for platforms connecting multiple data sources. And you will even be involved in European research projects. All the while learning about linked data, semantic reasoners, ontologies, blockchain and much more.

Join the diverse and tight-knit team of 50 highly qualified and motivated women and men of TNO Data Science. Your colleagues come from all over the world, sharing a drive to develop innovative applications that focus on understanding and giving meaning to data. Ours is a supportive environment and as a junior developer you will be mentored. At our modern offices near The Hague Central Station you find a safe, open, friendly and highly professional atmosphere, in which we combine knowledge-sharing with fun events!
