What will you be doing?

In the acquisition phase, you are responsible for the financial and contractual aspects of studies. During the execution phase you ensure an efficient and timely execution and reporting. As intermediate between customer and project team, you contribute to project planning and constant improvement of processes and workflows.

What do we require of you?

As an ideal candidate, you preferably have a degree in life sciences; experience with analytical chemistry or a pharma background is a plus. You have experience in working with (multidisciplinary) project teams and also at least 3-5 years of experience as a study director, project manager or a clinical study director. You have excellent communicating skills in English and enjoy presenting, (co) writing plans and reporting your work internally and to your collaborators (clients). You can plan ahead, can deal with deadlines of several projects at the same time. You have an IPMA-certification. You are familiar with quality systems, such as ISO 9001, GLP and or GCP.

What can you expect of your work situation?

You will join the dynamic team AMS & Biomarkers which is part of the department Metabolic Health Research, located at the vibrant Leiden BioScience Park. We are an international mix of approximately 24 technicians, study directors, scientists and project managers lead by a team leader. We are open, customer oriented, support each other and are also in for fun together. During the current pandemic, the study directors and project managers balance their work between working at home and in the office. Our lab facilities are state-of-the art, with currently two AMS systems and two accurate mass spectrometers, number of UPLC systems and growing. For our team members, TNO offers various personal and technical development possibilities, such as courses, training on a job or conference participation.
