Internship | Hydrogen ICE: fuel-air mixture preparation and combustion model

What will be your role?
This internship/master thesis project targets the design, implementation and functional validation of a Hydrogen High Pressure Direct Injection (HPDI) Injector model
For this MSc project the following activities are foreseen:
- Literature study on fuel injection modelling and HPDI (hydrogen) combustion1*
- Selection of modelling environment*
- Identifying HPDI Injector functional design and geometry*
- Design of HPDI injector model*
- HPDI injector model implementation
- Model functional validation and sensitivity study
- Writing report and presenting results
- Part of internship

- Affinity with combustion engines and Fuel Injection Equipment
- Interest in numerical work and construction principles/mechanical design
