Business Developer in In-Vitro Diagnostics & Biomarkers | Leiden
Want to make your mark on our time? Become a Business Developer at TNO in Leiden!
About this position
Working together with pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, hospitals, medical doctors, and our TNO colleagues to develop new point-of-care diagnostics, markers for early detection of disease, and thus make a positive impact on individuals' health. Envision it. Strengthen TNO as a Business Developer in vitro diagnostics & biomarkers. Many conditions are preventable if detected in time. Diagnostics are essential in getting the right therapy to the right person in time and to prevent disease. Current diagnostic methods focus on medical, usually curative care in hospitals and healthcare facilities. To prevent and cure disease more efficiently, TNO is working on biomarkers for early disease detection, including a (patented) set of biomarkers and algorithms for diagnosis and prediction of liver fibrosis in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. We are also working on technology for rapid, lab-independent point-of-care technology. This allows biomedical tests to be performed at home or elsewhere. These innovations help in early detection of diseases, and also provide individuals with support for a healthy lifestyle and optimal, personalised therapies. We are working towards a healthy society by making these innovations widely applicable.
