Together with companies, universities, research centers, and the government, you work on projects that strengthen and secure the digital infrastructure. What will you do?
As a Project Manager ICT, you are responsible for multiple research and innovation projects. These projects range from short-term consultancy assignments to long-term research programs like Horizon Europe and TKI projects. You lead consortia where public and private parties with diverse interests collaborate. Thanks to your leadership and communication skills, you ensure everyone is aligned and that goals are achieved.
You will work on diverse topics such as post-quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, trusted ICT, quantum computing, and secure computation.
With support from experts within TNO, you will lead projects from start to finish: from acquisition and planning to execution and delivery.
What makes this role unique?
You will join the Applied Cryptography and Quantum Algorithms (ACQuA) team, a group of mathematicians, computer scientists, and physicists who work daily on the latest developments in cryptography and quantum technology. Together, we develop applications that are privacy-friendly and quantum-safe, directly contributing to the safety of our society.

What we expect from you
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies like IPMA is a plus.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, as you will work with international teams and for Dutch clients.

The selection process
Please apply before the 20th of October, 2024. The selection process comprises two interview rounds. In a final meeting we will discuss the terms of employment and your tailored benefits package. We aim to finalize the entire process within four weeks.
The selection process may include an online assessment and a reference check.
