Our key-items are: better resolution and major stability, applied in the design and manufacturing of instruments for research and space- and earth exploration. These challenges are achieved by merging expertise's on mechanical engineering, optical design, radar technologies and highly qualified manufacturing capabilities. Also special components from customer's specification are designed, manufactured and tested.

From idea to instrument

Our expertise of mechanical and optical manufacturing techniques is implemented from the first engineering of instruments. This warrants the manufacturability of instruments and special parts. Mechanical and optical engineers stay involved in experimental manufacturing.
This co-operation enables the manufacturing of complex and high accurate parts to be built in instruments.
The parts are made with highly qualified machines. Some parts are outsourced with careful verification of working methods and quality of the products. Instruments and special parts are tested in our measuring facilities, cleanrooms and thermal vacuum chamber where space circumstances are simulated.

Many applications

Quality and accuracy of our mechanical and optical components enable the gathering of scientific information of earth environment and space. Other pages show extended information about TROPOMI-spectrometer, GAIA-wafefront sensor, ExoMars-spectrometer and about GAIA-BAM, a very accurate angular measuring system. These instruments are designed and build in closes co-operation with various European organizations and are initiated by ESA and ESO.
For projects in the area of Semicon and Radar technology we make highly qualified components and instruments.
Special designed optical and mechanical components are made for universities to support basic research. For the near future we did experimental research for manufacturing components with Molybdenum and Silicon carbide, e.g. for the ITER project.
