EtripleC: Electrons to Close the Carbon Cycle

Electrochemical reduction of CO2, using renewable electricity as the energy source and CO₂ as the carbon source, is the most direct route to close the carbon cycle. In the EtripleC project ECN>TNO and University of Twente are investigating in collaboration with ISPT and end-users the technical feasibility and scalability, and the economic relevance of electrochemical conversion of CO2, N2 and CH4 based on the patented hollow tube technology.
