TNO has more than 4,000 researchers and they have specialist knowledge of a range of fields. TNO has set up a knowledge transfer programme specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The programme is designed to make TNO's valuable knowledge easily accessible to these businesses. You can read more about the SME programme on the SME page.
The SME programme offers various possibilities. Usable information relating to your knowledge question may already be available, for example in the form of manuals or guidelines. It may also be the case that we have knowledge of or expertise in a particular subject, but need to 'translate' it so that it can be applied to your particular situation. We can provide support in both cases.
The ICB has recently completed many knowledge transfer projects in fields including result-oriented maintenance management, geothermics and energy saving in greenhouse horticulture, dust-free working, and door and window systems with integrated technology. Curious to see what our answer is to your knowledge question? Contact our SME manager and discover how the SME programme can help you.
