Data Scientist

Contact me for questions about digital biomarkers, wearables, clinical data science, and the use of AI in healthcare. I am happy to contribute to study design, methodology, statistical analysis, and the development and responsible application of AI models in both clinical and everyday care settings.

Research area

My research focuses on digital health, with a clear emphasis on digital biomarkers, wearables, and clinical data science. As a data scientist, methodologist, and biostatistician, I design and analyze studies that deliver reliable and clinically relevant insights. I work across the entire pipeline, from data collection and quality control to statistical analysis, modeling, and the substantiation of scientific evidence.

A key part of my work involves analyzing physiological signals, behavioral data, and long-term time series from real-world settings, with particular attention to cardiometabolic health. In addition, I investigate how AI applications such as predictive models and decision support can be developed and integrated into home monitoring, clinical care processes, and digital interventions.

In multidisciplinary collaborations, I often serve as a bridge between clinical practice, data analysis, and technology. I help with methodological decisions and work on transparent and careful use of AI. Alongside my research, I write and review scientific publications and support colleagues with statistical analyses, machine learning, and the development of data and analysis pipelines for clinical and practice-oriented datasets.
