Leave your mark on our time! Join TNO as a Functioneel Beheerder in The Hague!

About this position

At TNO, technology plays a crucial role in making groundbreaking research and innovations possible. The Corporate Real Estate & Facilities (CREF) department’s Management & Maintenance team ensures that our high-quality buildings, installations, and safety provisions operate optimally. As functional administrator, you will contribute to this directly by guaranteeing the reliability, security, and continuity of our building management systems and safety and security systems. This is a role with real impact in the technological heart of TNO.

What will be your role?

In this position, you will be responsible for the functional administration and optimisation of building management systems (BMS) and safety and security applications. You will monitor updates, security levels, system performance, and the overall lifecycle of both the applications and the associated peripheral equipment and field devices.

You will work closely with IT specialists, maintenance and service partners for security systems, and building automation specialists who work with the systems on a daily basis. You will support and advise these users and service partners in their operational duties and ensure that they can work optimally with the systems.

In addition, you will work in a high-tech, safety-critical environment where your contribution will have a direct impact on safe, reliable, and innovative research. As you will also perform work for commissioning parties within the defence and security domain, a Certificate of No Objection (VGB) is required.
