Germany, NorthRhine-Westphalia • 13 Sep 2017 - 15 Sep 2017

A three-day innovation mission will be organised which fits in the trilateral strategy to strengthen the chemical industry in the Netherlands, Flanders and North Rhine-Westphalia. The aim is to bring people from Dutch, Flemish and German businesses, research institutions and government, together to share insights on current state of research efforts and directions in this field, and explore opportunities for international collaboration.

Nordrhein-Westfalen is renowned for their energy intensive industries and the chemical sector. In this region, many companies are currently developing technologies for, and are doing research on the industrial electrification. Important companies and research institutes in this field, like Evonik, Bayer, RWTH Aachen and Forschungszentrum Jülich, are established in this region.
