Atomic layer deposition for thin-film solar
Webinar • 25 Jan 2021
Together with partners, Solliance, a strong network of research groups and industry, working at the forefront of thin-film photovoltaic technology, launches a series of webinars on perovskite solar technology. The collaborative, shared research is led by TNO and imec.
In this Solliance webinar, we focus on atomic layer deposition. This deposition technique is developing fast and can create ultra-thin layers with high accuracy, which maybe crucial for reliability of flexible, thin film solar. We will discuss the development new functional layers for photovoltaic applications and the challenges for scaling up (spatial) ALD roll-to-roll and sheet-to-sheet deposition processes, to meet the industrial standards. With Adriana Creatore, Professor in the Plasma and Materials Processing group and Paul Poodt of TNO.
This is the second webinar in a series related to lifetime of thin-film solar modules. A webinar Packaging technologies for thin-film solar modules is planned for 22 February. Previous webinar: Stability of Perovskite solar cells (11 January).
