Working in Automotive & Mobility
This is our time to work on sustainable mobility. On clean vehicles, efficient mobility systems, and emission-free logistics. This is your chance to make a mark on one of the challenges of our time. Find out what we do at TNO in the field of mobility or view our vacancies right away.

Time for smart, safe, and sustainable mobility
At TNO, we're doing everything we can to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from road traffic by 80 percent. On the way to zero-emission road traffic by 2050. This requires a drastic change in our mobility system.
That's why TNO is striving for sustainable mobility and logistics, in which renewable fuels like electricity and hydrogen replace fossil fuels. We're also working on smart solutions for safe automated driving and self-organising logistics.
To achieve this, we're innovating hard. We develop models, collect data, and develop smart solutions to make mobility more sustainable, efficient, and accessible.
The TNO Mobility & Built Environment unit serves both businesses and government agencies. From our locations in The Hague, Delft, and Helmond, we work with our clients to develop competitive, low-emission technologies. Legislation and policy play a key role in this.
Science and innovation
At TNO, we combine science and innovation with social commitment. Rather than wait around, we keep moving — not alone, but together. And we always have one goal in mind: to help build a strong, sustainable, and future-proof society.
We invite you to contribute your ideas, join in the conversation and work with us — because it is precisely by combining our knowledge, experience, and ideas that we really make a difference.
TNO employees, the time setters
TNO employees are driven professionals who push boundaries every day. They develop innovative solutions in the areas of health, sustainability, digitalisation, and safety. In doing so, they make their mark on our time, the time setters.
