About this position
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join (CITC) Chip Integration Technology Center. A non-profit, open innovation center specializing in heterogeneous integration and advanced chip packaging.
What will be your role?
Join TNO as Business Development Manager and work at the forefront of semiconductor and photonics packaging innovation at our partner, the Chip Integration Technology Center (CITC) in Nijmegen.
The Chip Integration Technology Center (CITC) is a non-profit, open innovation center specialising in heterogeneous integration and advanced chip packaging. CITC was founded in 2019 with strategic partners TNO and Delft University of Technology and is supported by local and regional governments. CITC was founded with one clear mission: to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.
Working closely with industry leaders, research institutes, and educational partners, CITC has created an effective ecosystem that accelerates innovation. Together, we are developing the next generation of packages providing smart, safe, and rugged housing for chips.
CITC’s unique contribution lies in providing direct access to state-of-the-art infrastructure, groundbreaking innovations, and specialized education programs. From our base at the Noviotech Campus in Nijmegen the heart of the Dutch semiconductor industry.

What we expect from you
You thrive at the intersection of commerce and research. You know how to identify market challenges and translate in-depth technology and market know-how into R&D projects, and you know how to build strong, long-term partnerships.
Here’s what makes you a great fit for this role:
- An MSc or PhD in technical sciences or academic skills, gained through experience.
- Extensive experience in market analysis and business development for R&D projects in the semiconductor or high-tech domain, with a demonstrable success rate of closed deals.
- A proven network in the semiconductor industry, specifically in advanced chip packaging.
- You connect easily with people from diverse backgrounds and at all levels, and you enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.

The selection process
Please apply before the 15th of September, 2025. The selection process comprises two interview rounds. In a final meeting we will discuss the terms of employment and your tailored benefits package. We aim to finalize the entire process within four weeks.
