Experienced Financial Control Administrator

As a Financial Control Administrator at TNO, you will be part of a close-knit team that ensures accurate, transparent and timely financial administration. You are analytically strong, a team player and make sure the numbers always add up to the decimal point.

What will be your role?

Together with about 10 colleagues, you will be responsible for the correct, timely and complete processing of costs and revenues in SAP and you will contribute to smooth closing of the month and year. Your tasks will be, among other things:

  • You will perform analyses on balance sheet items and provide input for reliable reporting.
  • You will monitor the overview of our financial position and be involved in closing the month and year.
  • You will prepare reports for one or more departments of the Service Organisation.
  • You will help ensure compliance and adherence to internal guidelines.
  • You will be actively involved in improving processes within financial control.

What we expect from you

  • A higher professional degree (HBO) as a minimum in an administrative or economical field.
  • At least three years of relevant experience.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with SAP and affinity with IT (RPA) are a plus.
  • You will contribute to innovation and automation, acting as an inspiring role model for others.
  • You are a team player with a service-oriented attitude and a willingness to switch duties.
  • You have integrity, accuracy and the ability to organise your own work well.
  • Excellent proficiency in Dutch (minimum C2 level) and English, both spoken and written.
  • You will work in a great, informal team in the heart of The Hague, near Central Station.

The selection process

Please apply before the 23rd of December, 2025. The selection process comprises two interview rounds. The preliminary interview takes place on Tuesday the 6th and Wednesday the 7th of January, 2026. In a final meeting we will discuss the terms of employment and your tailored benefits package. We aim to finalize the entire process within four weeks.

The selection process may include an online assessment and a reference check.

A certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required before starting a new job at TNO.
