As a systems engineer, you work from within one of the research groups and collaborate with colleagues in multidisciplinary project teams. You develop new concepts into practical implementations, for example through feasibility studies or trials under operational conditions.
Together with your colleagues, you combine, integrate and realise innovations. Important innovations that contribute to society. You translate the functional concept into a system design and then implement it in both hardware and software. During both the specification and testing phases, you are in regular contact with the end users.
