The neurobiology of Stress

Why is one person more susceptible to psychological trauma than the other? Can we detect susceptibility to depressive symptoms early? Can we allow those who have to deliver top performance, such as athletes and soldiers, perform even better? According to Victor Kallen, clinical psycho-physiologist at TNO Behavioural and Societal Sciences, the answer is to be found in the holistic approach to the production of stress hormones in our body.
