How can we enhance quantum networks performance? How can we address more use cases? . These questions hold the key to the future global quantum internet and will most probably necessitate the integration of both space and ground links, alongside the amalgamation of various platforms.
Despite the inherent challenges posed by the differing physical properties of quantum systems, and the added complexity of incorporating space channels, the pursuit of effective interfacing emerges as a compelling avenue for future research. This endeavor promises to unlock new potentials and drive forward the frontier of quantum communication.
