My main focus is on upscaling the perovskite solar cell technology to Roll-to-Roll process platform. Upscalability of the materials, solvents from small lab-scale cells to industry compatible Roll-to-Roll scale without losing performance and reliability are the main challenges of my work.
I am involved in the challenges related to scalability of thin film Perovskite PV technology mainly on flexible substrates, aimed for high-speed Roll-to-Roll processing. Together with my team, I develop materials, solvents, and processing techniques, that are acting as building blocks towards scaling up the technology.
I have been involved in experimental processes, design of experiments, creation and implementation of new ideas on solar cell upscaling, module processing, performance and reliability. I am experienced in project management and coordination of large complex consortia at Dutch and European level. I am currently acting as R2R Perovskite Program Leader at TNO Solar Technologies Applications Department.
