Stage- en Campus Consultant | The Hague
Want to make your mark on our time? Become a Stage- en Campus Consultant at TNO in The Hague!
About this position
As an Internship and Campus Consultant, your focus is on attracting, engaging, and retaining students and early-career professionals for TNO - a highly important target group for the organisation! In addition to managing the internship process, you are committed to improving and optimising TNO’s internship policy and are actively involved in strategically profiling TNO on university campuses.
What will be your role?
You will be responsible for developing and implementing the campus and internship strategy within TNO. You play a central role in communicating the internship policy and ensuring structural improvements that align with TNO’s objectives.
You are the internship and campus expert and provide advice to line management, recruitment, and HR with your up-to-date knowledge. You collect data, trends, and key figures to make fact-based decisions and recommendations.
You will create a concrete annual plan, with clear actions, planning, and budget, and ensure its successful execution. Additionally, you are the point of contact within the organisation for everything related to internships and campus activities. You ensure the internship office is highly visible and actively put the topic on the agenda of various internal stakeholders.
You also maintain relationships with technical universities and student associations. You ensure that TNO is recognized as a potential (internship) employer among technical target groups through lectures, events, and in-house days. In this, you collaborate with our researchers, recruiters, and the Marketing and Communication department.
You are part of our diverse recruitment team, and we support our internal customers from various locations across the country. This means you will not see all your fellow recruiters every day, but we hold joint meetings, mostly in The Hague. You are given a lot of freedom and can organise your work as you see fit. We trust that you can handle this independence well and will proactively indicate if you encounter any issues or need help.
What we expect from you
You will work largely independently on projects and are responsible for initiating, planning, and executing campus and internship initiatives. This requires a proactive attitude, the ability to set priorities, and to actively involve stakeholders in your plans. You’ll work organisation-wide for all TNO units, each with their own focus areas, culture, and priorities. This calls for sensitivity, adaptability, and the ability to deliver custom solutions within an overarching strategy.
Additionally:
- You have at least three years of relevant work experience in recruitment, campus activities, or HR, and have completed a higher professional education (hbo). Experience or affinity with technology is a plus.
- You enjoy working independently and can find your way in doing so.
- You have (or are building) solid knowledge in the field of recruitment and selection, developments in the field, the labour market, and laws and regulations concerning interns.
- You work in a structured way, have an affinity with processes, attention to detail, and gain energy from planning and organising.
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
What you'll get in return
Challenging and varied work with a real impact. And plenty of opportunities as, at TNO, you are in charge of shaping your career. We offer a gross monthly salary between € 3,975 and € 5,000 (based on your knowledge and experience), 8% holiday pay, a 13th month bonus of 8.33% and a flex budget (5.58% + € 180). In addition, you will be given every opportunity to develop yourself.
TNO offers optional employee benefits, enabling you to tailor your benefits package to match your personal situation. You may also expect:
