As weapons on the battlefield continue to evolve, so must the methods for detecting them. A team of researchers from NATO STO has investigated how passive radars and satellite signals can be used to gain a better understanding of the airspace of allies. The team, established under the Sensors and Electronics Technology (SET) Panel, tested this approach in September 2024 during a series of trials in Germany.
