The TNO Brussels Office connects TNO with the European institutions and the wider European research, innovation and industry ecosystem. The office monitors relevant EU policy developments, strengthens TNO’s visibility and positioning in Brussels, and helps connect TNO’s knowledge and technological expertise to European priorities and initiatives. It also supports TNO colleagues in navigating the European policy landscape, identifying opportunities and engaging with policymakers, industry partners, research organisations and other stakeholders.
The Brussels Office is currently represented by David van Hees, who serves as a point of contact for TNO’s engagement in Brussels.

He holds a master’s degree in EU Competition Law from the University of Amsterdam.
