Want to make your mark on our time? Come work as an Application Administrator / Packager at TNO in The Hague

About this position

As an Application Administrator / Packager, TNO offers you a highly challenging environment. We manage a total of 30,000 applications, and together with your team, you will be responsible for maintaining approximately 300 applications. These applications run on Windows clients in both physical and VDI environments. The complexity of the TNO environment, the large number of applications, and the extensive customization involved make this a technically demanding role.

What will be your role?

As an Application Administrator / Packager, you will work within the TNO Digital Workspace team. This team operates at the forefront of workplace software delivery, with a strong focus on Agile methodologies and two-week sprint cycles.

Within the Agile team, you will play a key role. You will conduct intake sessions, build application packages, perform quality checks on delivered packages, and provide user support. In doing so, you ensure that end users always have access to the right software and the support they need.#LI-Hybrid

In addition, we expect you to:

  • Actively contribute ideas on applying new technologies to continue innovating within our Digital Workspace environment;

The Application Administrator / Packager role can be performed in a hybrid setup. The primary office location is The Hague, and the team’s fixed office days are Tuesday and Wednesday. At TNO, you will be given a high degree of freedom and autonomy, with strong attention to maintaining a healthy work-life balance

What we expect from you

  • HBO-level working and thinking capability (higher professional education level), ideally supported by a completed degree in Computer Science or a related field. However, what matters most to us is your ability to maintain oversight of both technical complexity and the various stakeholder interests within a complex organization;
