About Science Weekend

During Science Weekend, visitors get a unique look behind the scenes at organisations and are allowed to visit places that are not normally open to the public. The programme is aimed at families with children between the ages of 8 and 14, but is suitable for almost all ages.

Step into the world of high-tech innovations

Saturday 4 October, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

TNO Delft, Stieltjesweg 1

Join interactive demos such as candy vacuuming, catching electrons and programming, bridge building, and 3D printing - get inspired by the technology of tomorrow.

Escape from AI in Groningen

Sunday 5 October, 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. (during Zpannend Zernike)

Will you escape the AI Escape Room in time? Experience how AI and other innovations contribute to a cleaner, smarter and more enjoyable world. Maybe you'll be programming the robot of the future yourself.
