The strategic context: a national opportunity

We aim to develop a robust Dutch ecosystem that can contribute to and benefit from this growth, fostering new economic possibilities for you and creating new startups in secure deep-tech. This webinar serves to inform potential industry partners in the Dutch (cybersecurity/infrastructure/AI) ecosystem and prepare for the next phase of collaboration in secure space communication: the European post-Eagle-1 space-based Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) service infrastructure.

Together with SES from Luxembourg, we will unveil the concept and plan for the Cybersecurity Orchestrator; a vital layer of defense required for this future sovereign European infrastructure.

Webinar agenda

  • Introduction to Eagle-Next and the general framework (by SES);
  • Cybersecurity aspects of Eagle-Next (overview by SES);
  • Specific cybersecurity components (presented by TNO);
  • Tasks, skills, and capabilities we are looking for;
  • Q&A.

Following the webinar, TNO would like to start one-on-one conversations with interested Dutch companies to discuss a specific role, capabilities, and partnership opportunities within the Eagle Next cybersecurity ecosystem which will serve as a valuable input for upcoming ESA ministerial discussions. Your participation is vital in strengthening the Netherlands' position in this critical European domain.
