Health Care & Life Sciences track

TNO and UMCG are the track champions of the Healthcare & Life Sciences track. This track goes after the difficult questions: what the data infrastructure actually has to look like, what reaches the patient, what the evidence says, and what is still unresolved at the research frontier.

The hard questions, not the tour

This track is aimed at clinicians, researchers, healthcare executives, regulators and AI practitioners; an audience that can handle, and wants, substance. The programme is built in three movements:

• foundations and data infrastructure
• clinical AI and patient impact
• research frontiers and emerging topics

Sensible AI track

Together with AI Hub Noord-Nederland, we are organising the sensible AI track. Using AI is easy. Applying it sensibly is the hard part. This track is for people who care what the technology does to the humans on the other side of it: bias and inclusion, explainability and trust, the governance around it, and the organisational change it takes to make any of that stick.

This track is aimed at leaders, policymakers, ethicists, designers, implementers, educators and organisations working on responsible adoption: the people who have to weigh what a system does well against what it does to the people it touches. The speakers are experts and practitioners who connect ethics, governance and human factors to practical implementation.
