Managing Director Marjoleine van der Zwan bids farewell to TNO
Marjoleine van der Zwan has completed her assignment and is taking her leave from TNO Health & Work. In her role, she has guided the organisation through its next stage of development and positioning over the past period.
Under her leadership, Health & Work has undergone a significant transformation. The focus has been sharpened on areas such as labour productivity, the application of AI, medicine development and positioning within the health domain.
Marjoleine has made a substantial contribution to this, notably by establishing the new 2026-2029 strategy 'Enhancing Human Performance'.
She also initiated new national and international partnerships, impactful projects and a stronger connection between science, the market and society. With this phase now concluded, a new era is beginning for the unit.

'We are grateful to Marjoleine for her dedication and the significant contribution she has made to the development of Health & Work. Thanks to her efforts, there is now a solid foundation for the next phase of growth and impact for the unit.'
In the coming period, TNO Health & Work will focus on further implementing the new strategy, thus contributing to healthcare and the labour market with smart and expert solutions and practical innovations. Marc Zegveld, Managing Director of TNO ICT, Strategy & Policy, will temporarily take over her responsibilities.
