About this position

Within Corporate Real Estate & Facilities (CREF), we create safe, healthy, sustainable and future-proof work and research environments across TNO locations. We develop policies, implement improvements and ensure that our facility and technical services support colleagues every day.

As a Support Professional, you are the connecting link between managers, employees and business processes. Together with a fellow Support Professional, you support several managers within CREF and ensure that information, appointments and actions are well coordinated. You are also part of the Management Support team within BIOS (Business Information & Operations Services), where you work closely with four colleagues, each with their own area of responsibility.

What will be your role?

In this role, you will support the managers of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), Facility & Asset Management (FAM) and Site Service Management (SSM). You play a central organisational role, helping managers and teams work effectively by staying ahead, maintaining oversight and ensuring smooth collaboration.

Your work is varied and requires independence, flexibility and a strong sense of priorities. You will collaborate closely with colleagues within Management Support and actively contribute to improving processes and ways of working. #LI-Hybrid

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex calendars and mailboxes, setting priorities and anticipating upcoming needs.
  • Organising meetings, strategy sessions, training courses and departmental events.
  • Preparing meetings, recording decisions and action points, and monitoring follow-up actions.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new colleagues and handling administrative tasks such as purchase requests and orders.
  • Keeping SharePoint pages and other information channels up to date.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to efficient and professional management support.

What we expect from you

You are a proactive and organised professional who remains calm and effective when managing multiple priorities. You communicate easily with managers, colleagues and external stakeholders, work accurately and discreetly, and understand what requires immediate attention.

You also bring:

  • A completed vocational education (MBO-4 level), preferably in management support, office management or a related field.
  • Several years of experience as a Support Professional, Executive Assistant, Management Assistant or Personal Assistant.
  • Excellent command of Dutch; proficiency in English is an advantage.
  • Strong digital skills, including experience with Outlook, Teams, Word and SharePoint.
