Ik onderzoek gezondheidseffecten en risico’s van allergenen en nieuwe eiwitten. Met wetenschap en innovatie werken we aan het verbeteren van voedselveiligheid. In multidisciplinaire samenwerking vertaal ik complexe gegevens graag naar toepasbare instrumenten—met aansluiting op beleid, industrie, gezondheidszorg en patiëntenorganisaties.

Ik ben werkzaam bij de expertisegroep Risk Analysis for Prevention, Innovation & Development (RAPID). Deze afdeling onderzoekt gezondheidseffecten als gevolg van blootstelling aan gevaarlijke stoffen op de werkplek, omgeving/milieu en inname en ontwikkelen we innovatieve benaderingen voor vroege voorspelling van gezondheidseffecten.
