Hello, my name is Adri Vervuurt, program manager within the Infrastructure cluster. You can come to me with questions regarding the behavior of concrete and steel structures, (traffic) loads on bridges and viaducts, and other inquiries related to structural safety.

I specialise in modelling well cement and fluid leakage along wells, connecting science with field application and evidence.

I am a scientist at TNO, working on Circular Economy R-strategies. Whether that’s tackling microplastics released from clothing or mapping critical raw materials during recycling, my favourite projects to work on use rigorous data collection to answer a clear question of the energy & material transition.

Prof. Dr. André P.C. Faaij is Director of Science & Technology of and Principal Scientist at TNO Energy & Material Transition, The Netherlands largest energy research organization with some 1,100 co-workers and 180 MEuro/yr turnover. He combines this with part time (and distinguished) Professor chairs ‘’Energy System Analysis’’ at Utrecht University (UU) and University of Groningen (RUG).

Anika Batenburg is a Senior Researcher at TNO Energy Transition Studies. Drawing on her background in social sciences, communication science and data science, she focuses on addressing socially relevant challenges within the energy transition. She translates complex, data-driven scientific insights into practical and achievable policy solutions. Her work has a strong focus on enabling a just energy transition and advancing effective climate communication.
