Onderzoeksgebied

Het onderzoek van prof. Minne Fekkes is gericht op de effectiviteit van (elementen van) programma's die bedoeld zijn om de sociale vaardigheden en weerbaarheid van jongeren te versterken. Daarnaast houdt hij zich in zijn onderzoek bezig met de bepalende elementen en contextfactoren die de ontwikkeling van sociale vaardigheden en weerbaarheid verbeteren. Zo voerde hij een longitudinaal onderzoek uit naar de factoren die invloed hebben op de ontwikkeling van jonge kinderen binnen het Nederlandse kinderopvangsysteem. Hij richt zich specifiek op de ontwikkeling van effectieve antipestprogramma's voor scholen in Nederland, met als doel regelmatig pesten op scholen en cyberpesten te voorkomen.
