TNO’s DSL Seminar 2013
For the fifth consecutive year, we are happy to invite you for TNO´s DSL Seminar & Regulatory Session 2013. This seminar will give you an in depth technical update about the challenges and latest developments in DSL. Special attention will be given to worldwide operator’s experiences and live demonstrations. Following the success from last year, one full day will be dedicated to regulatory implications of DSL developments.
New confirmations for the DSL Seminar 2013
As the DSL Seminar 2013 draws closer we are happy to present a rapidly growing list of speakers who will be presenting at the event. On the first day of the three-day seminar we will have Scott Marcus from WIK whose keynote speech will update us on DSL and FTTX Regulation. Also on the first day Tim Lynch from Comreg will be presenting his case study on SLU and vectoring in Ireland. Day two of the seminar will see Paul Spruyt, Chief DSL strategist from Alcatel-lucent, giving an insightful talk on vectoring in the real world. We also welcome Kai Karbach from Deutsche Telekom, talking about the importance of vectoring to the future of DSL. The third and final day of the seminar will play host to Serge Eiffes, a representative from PT Luxembourg. His presentation addresses the solutions needed to secure the introduction of vectoring to the industry. Philippe Repond from Swisscom will talk about the work Swisscom has done to promote the evolution of wireline access. Brian Bogearts from KPN will also speak during the DSL Seminar.

These fantastic guest speakers join our already impressive line-up of industry experts presenting at the seminar including: Tom Starr; chairman of the Broadband Forum; Bas van den Heuvel, senior scientist at TNO; Tini Hooymans, member of the TNO Board of Management and member of the Supervisory Board of Royal KPN N.V.; with Robin Mersh CEO of the Broadband Forum, chairing the second and third day of the seminar.

Every year the DSL Seminar attracts a larger number of attendees, as they discuss pertinent issues surrounding the advancements in DSL. Already confirmed to attend the seminar are more than 10 different operators and 10 different vendors, with multiple industry experts set to discuss the latest DSL developments.
Seminar to take place at north sea beach of The Hague, Scheveningen
This year’s TNO’s DSL Seminar & Regulatory Session 2013 will take place in the Carlton Beach Hotel in Scheveningen, The Hague. The conference room has a splendid view overlooking the beach and the sea, and will, of course, be an excellent setting for our social event on the second day of the seminar.
