Electrical Install Engineer | Petten

Want to make your mark on our time? Come work at TNO as an electrical install engineer in Petten!

About this position

Do you want to contribute to innovative measurement solutions for the next generation of wind turbines and the energy system as a whole? Do you have 2 right hands and are you not afraid to get them dirty? Then join TNO wind energy as an electrical install engineer!

What will be your role?

Being an electrical install engineer within the wind energy research group, you will use your electro-technical background on a day to day basis. For this you do not stay inside, nor with two feet on the ground.

Together with a Lead Engineer, you work on measurement projects from beginning to end. You will be involved in making a measurement plan, the preparation of sensors and hardware in the lab and the actual installation in the field. During the measurement period you will contribute with the analyses of the measurement data and reporting out the results.

Besides those measurement campaigns you will also support the team with various lab management activities, to upkeep the high quality standards of our lab. Think of calibrating measurement equipment, ordering components, organizing/sorting equipment and many other things to keep the lab running smoothly.

All these activities, make the job very diverse and ensure a healthy balance between outdoor and indoor work.

What we expect from you
